The annual garden club potluck at Cynthia's, hosted by Cynthia and Alma, was a rousing success despite the cold weather. The food was fabulous, as usual, and the company was warm and delightful. We had a fun time playing the dice game to distribute gifts and an even better time opening each gift in turn. Rosemary got away too fast to get into the picture. Sorry about that!! We left a space for her between Lucille and Teresa!!
Kris handed out the new 2010 yearbooks. They look great, full of colorful pictures of flowers and gardens. If you were not present, you can get your booklet at the January meeting.
Janet handed out an announcement for the Last Chance holiday craft, gift and bake sale which will be held Saturday, December 12 from 9am to 3pm at 23285 Hwy 87 (watch for signs).
For wonderful last minute gifts, try Mary G.'s Log Cabin handmade soaps at Village Floral in Grantsburg or at the Gallery in Siren.
