Located in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, the Burnett Garden Club is a non-profit, educational club founded in 1988 and affiliated with the Minnesota State Horticultural Society, the largest organization of it's kind in the nation. We welcome anyone from the area to join our club regardless of county of residence. The club disbanded as a formal organization in December 2018

Meeting Minutes, January 10, 2012
Attendees: Ruth, Kris, Lucille, Mary and Jim C., Rosemary, Roberta (Robbie), Mary G., Janet, Teresa, Georgianne, Alma, Cynthia, Pam
Pam called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM
Meeting minutes: no minutes for the December meeting (Holiday potluck), November minutes are on the blog. No corrections or additions offered. Moved (Kris) and seconded (Ruth) to accept the minute. Actual yes vote assumed.
Treasury Report: December 31, 2012 balance $1756.20, balance tonight is 1678.20. Checks written for Chamber dues, $50.00 and to print brochures.
Announcements: High Tea on Sunday May 5 (meeting changed to Sunday for this meeting only) will be held at the residence of Carrie Byer’s son. This is a special venue. Time, address and directions will be shared closer to the event. This is a dress up event, though members who do not care to dress up are also welcome to attend. Go all out if you desire. Members are encouraged to share something fun like a poem or such.
Committee Reports: None except that Pam and Georgianne took down the Holiday in the Park display. Thanks from Pam to Georgianne for help with this.
Old Business: We need a presenter for our February meeting. Pam emailed Joanne Gray of Sunshine Gardens for a possible program on ferns or ??? Pam will call her. May need another idea for the meeting if she is not available.
New Business: We need to have an executive committee meeting soon to do an informal audit of the 2012 books and to look at spending for 2012 and to look at what we want to spend in 2013.
Pam to look into our status as a tax-exempt organization.
Pam made “lending hand” coupons for a plant valued at $7.50 or less from the Plant Sale. We can give these to anyone helping us and encourage new customers at our plant sale!
