15 members participated in the Wood River Garden Store preview that Dean did just for the club! Dean was a charter member of the garden club and for years has been giving us special spring previews taking valuable time away from prepping for opening next week!
We all needed a shot of that wonderful aroma of fresh soil and new plants. It was heavenly. Or regular meeting followed the preview. Updates on Club activities over the summer included the plant sale, 30th Anniversary celebration, Annual Local Garden Tour, and August BBQ. The potting party and plant sale are just around the corner. Hopefully our perennials are getting ready to burst out of the soil as soon as the snow melts so we can dig them up for the potting party in early May! Watch for meeting minutes to be posted soon.
