The participating members of the October Holmes Lake Orchard meeting on Thursday enjoyed not only a great meeting but free apples in addition to refreshments provided by our members. MaryAnn White and Cynthia Leonard surprised us with apple squares, 'adult' caramel apples [yum], apple cider! Many thanks to Mary G. for setting that up and for Holmes Lake Orchard for hosting.

An organizational meeting has been scheduled for Oct. 22nd at 5:30 PM at the Woodlands Grill for all the officers and anyone who would like to contribute to planning for 2010 and putting together the 2010 calendar. We will be using the suggestion and signup sheets that have been passed around at the last 2 meetings for ideas. Please put your thinking caps on and come with more ideas for fun stuff for the club! We will plan on eating at the restaurant after (or during!) the meeting. Officers, please let Kris know, asap, if you cannot make it.
