The October meeting will be held on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 pm at Holmes Lake Orchard. We will carpool at the High School at 5:30 planning to arrive at the orchard at 6:00.
If it is raining at that time (or has been raining most of the day), the trip and the October meeting will be canceled--officers will be elected at the November meeting. If in doubt, call Mary Griesbach or call the orchard at the number below to see if they are open.
Dress for the weather as we will be outside. Bob Hartshorn, the owner, will provide cider, other refreshments will be provided by club members.
We will be learning everything we ever wanted to know about apples and apple trees including which apples are good for pies so come with lots of questions.
