We had 10 members present for the potting party at Kris': Kris, Pam, Nori, Jim (honorary member), Becky, Mary G, Mary C, Sue, Lisa and Linnea (if I missed anyone, let me know). While not everyone had plants up yet to contribute, we did get a lot potted up. Sorry, no pictures. I was so busy dividing plants that I forgot to get the phone out. Thanks to everyone who came, potted and enjoyed Kris' hospitality. Ruthie (who was not present) and Nori also provided some treats. Thank you to them as well!!
Potting soil is available to members from Kris if you need it to pot up plants at your leisure. Contact her to get some.
Next up is our inspection of the gardens at the Grantsburg sign and Grantsburg's Memory Lake Park at 6:00 on Thursday, May 22. As of yesterday, not much was up yet. We will look at what there is and plan what we need to get to revamp these gardens. We might be able to dig up some things for the sale as well. I will bring a shovel and pots for this. Bring your ideas!! If anyone is interested in popping over to the American Legion for a beer (or pop) and a burger, we can do that too!! Hope to see you there!
